1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Akacharts, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Akacharts is a baby growth percentile calculator and tracker. It allows parents and guardians to log measurements, view growth charts based on CDC, WHO, and Fenton reference data, and share growth data with healthcare providers.

3. Not Medical Advice

Akacharts is an informational tool only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Growth charts and percentiles are based on published reference data and are intended to help you have informed conversations with your child's pediatrician. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about your child's health.

4. Accounts

You may use the anonymous calculator without an account. To save measurements and access additional features, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree that:

• You are a parent, guardian, or authorized caregiver of any child whose data you enter.
• The information you provide is accurate and current.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• Each email address may be associated with only one account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service without our written permission.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

6. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into Akacharts. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Sharing

When you create a share link, anyone with that link can view the shared growth data. Share links expire after 30 days and can be revoked at any time. You are responsible for controlling who you share links with.

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. When you delete your account, it is soft-deleted with a 30-day recovery window. Logging back in within 30 days restores your account. After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Akacharts is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the reference data or calculations will be free from inaccuracies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Akacharts and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, any decisions made based on information provided by the service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
