Introduction

Akacharts is a baby growth percentile calculator and tracker. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

What we collect

Anonymous calculator users

No data is sent to our servers. All calculations happen in your browser. A temporary copy of your most recent measurement is stored in localStorage and never leaves your device unless you create an account.

Account holders

When you create an account, we store:

• Email address
• Name (optional)
• Child profiles (name, sex, birthdate, gestational age)
• Growth measurements
• User preferences
• Contextual data related to growth tracking, if voluntarily provided

How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Display growth charts and percentiles
• Send reminders and alerts, if you enable them
• Generate shared chart views

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare's global network. Sessions expire automatically.

Authentication

We support magic link (passwordless email) and OAuth (Google, Apple) authentication. No passwords are stored. Magic link tokens expire after 15 minutes and are single-use.

Sharing

Shared chart links are read-only and expire after 30 days. Anyone with the link can view the shared data. You can revoke a shared link at any time.

Data export and deletion

You can export your data as CSV or PDF at any time. When you delete your account, it is soft-deleted with a 30-day recovery window. Logging back in within 30 days restores your account. After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

Email communications

• Transactional emails: magic link sign-in and deletion confirmation
• Measurement reminders: opt out any time in your settings
• Email is sent through Resend
• We do not send marketing emails

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track individual users. We do not use any third-party analytics scripts.

Children's privacy

Akacharts accounts are for parents and guardians only. Children do not create accounts or interact with the service directly. The app is designed for COPPA compliance by design.
